Home Builders University is committed to bringing contractors and builders high quality, affordable education that helps you stay competitive and informed.
Recently, Oregon Legislature passed a law requiring licensed contractors to complete ongoing continuing education. This means that all residential contractors licensed with the Oregon CCB must complete 16 CE hours before each license renewal, after September 30, 2011.
The 16 hours of continuing education are divided between 8 elective house and 8 “core” hours. The core classes, determined by the CCB, include 3 hours on the building envelope, 2 hours on codes or green topics and 3 hours on business practices.
With Home Builders University, you don’t have to worry about trying to manage your busy schedule around class times. We offer courses on building envelope, construction law, code updates, lead paint and more 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
